Who we are
Sequence Minds LLC (“Sequence Minds”, “we”, “us”) provides sales development services to businesses. This policy covers our website, sequenceminds.com, and the requests you send us through it. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
Questions about this policy or your data: sales@sequenceminds.com.
Data we collect
- What you send us in forms. For example your name, work email, company website, role, company size, phone number, what your company makes or ships and who your best customers are, and your message.
- Booking details. When you book a call, our scheduling provider Cal.com collects your name, email, the time you pick and your answers to the booking questions, and shares them with us.
- Usage data. Pages visited, how you arrived (for example the referring site or campaign tags in the link), device and browser type, and approximate location, collected with Google Analytics 4 and Vercel's privacy-friendly web analytics.
- HubSpot tracking and CRM records. With your consent where required, HubSpot's tracking cookies connect your visits to the forms you submit. Contacts and requests are stored as records in our HubSpot CRM.
- Visitor identification. With your consent where required, we use RB2B, a website visitor identification service, which may tell us the company or business profile behind a visit.
Why we use it
- To respond to your requests and questions.
- To build the buyer lists you ask for and send them to you.
- To schedule and hold the calls you book.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site and our forms secure and free of spam.
Legal bases (GDPR and UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases:
- Consent, for analytics and tracking cookies and visitor identification. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interest, to respond to business enquiries, follow up on requests, keep the site secure and run our business.
- Contract, to take steps you ask for before an agreement (such as a call or a buyer list) and to deliver services we agree to provide.
Who processes data for us
We use these service providers to run the site and handle requests. They process data on our behalf:
- HubSpot: CRM, form records and website tracking.
- Google Analytics: website analytics.
- Cal.com: call scheduling.
- Vercel: website hosting and web analytics.
- RB2B: website visitor identification.
- Retention.com: website visitor identification, provided with RB2B.
- Clay: organizing and researching the requests you send through our forms.
- Slack: internal notifications to our team about new requests.
Selling and sharing personal information
We do not sell personal information for money.
We use RB2B, a website visitor identification service provided with Retention.com. When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or online profiles. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. Under some US state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, this may be considered “sharing” of personal information.
You may opt out of this at any time by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of sharing. For any other privacy request, email sales@sequenceminds.com.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as we need it for our relationship with you or your company, and for any legal obligations. After that we delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Give you access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data.
- Stop or restrict using your data, or object to how we use it.
- Withdraw a consent you gave. This does not affect what we did before.
GDPR and UK GDPR: you also have the right to data portability and to complain to your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to delete and correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Canada (PIPEDA): you can access and correct your personal information, withdraw consent, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To make a request, email sales@sequenceminds.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on it, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process personal data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland are covered by safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
